2013 Yangarra Estate Vineyard Shiraz
The colour is deep and dark, with aromas of chocolate and espresso coffee. Concentrated, dense and deeply flavoured, with lashings of skin tannins. Big and bold but not oaky. A lovely red wine. Aging? Best at two to 17 years.

2012 Yangarra Estate Vineyard, Ironheart Shiraz
The specific site where gravelly ironstone peppers the ground impacts on this shiraz without doubt in the winemakers vision. A richness and warmth of compote spice aromas is immediately captivating while creative winemaking techniques from whole bunch and wild yeast fermentation through to grape and yeast solids maturation deliver an endearing complexity of flavours and fine sandy palate textures which swirl and linger dramatically.

Yangarra Small Pot Ceramic Egg Grenache 2013 - 95 points
Sourced from Block 30 (planted 1946). Raised in two 675L ceramic eggs, and kept on skins for 120 days post ferment. No oak. 93 cases.
Enchanting violet and rose perfume, fresh raspberries, subtle underlay of earth and spice. Light to medium bodied, superb tannin – chamois-like – all grip and mouth-coating authority, very fresh pronounced acidity, but feels clear and clean, then a perfumed bright finish of red berries and a slick of refreshing tannin. So precise, yet charming. Superb.
Yangarra PF Shiraz 2015 (Preservative free) - 90 points
Better than last year’s model. PF=preservative free with no additions used for the entire wine’s production, and a small subtraction at the end via filtration.
