The 2025 season was the driest on record for the region. These conditions produced very low yields, with small berries and high levels of concentration. A relatively warm February brought on a compact and rapid ripening period, with fruit moving through to maturity in a short timeframe. Despite the accelerated pace, the season has delivered wines with vibrant natural acidity and notable intensity, shaped by the combination of small berry size and the compressed harvest window.
Hand-picked. Varieties individually pressed to tank and settled. Clear juice racked to stainless steel for cool fermentation. A come-hither colour and classically dry, but there’s a succulent sweetness to the fruit flavours, allied with a textural pliancy. The acidity offers freshness but is also soft enough for that texture to play out. Poached strawberry, watermelon, white cherry, rosehip, musk and freshly ground cinnamon, all elegantly reflected. There’s clearly a lot of thought to the flavour and shape, but you’d be forgiven for focusing on the deliciousness.

Nothing ever seems to go amiss at Yangarra Estate. All the wines just have a sheen and neat polish. Here we go again with a very tasty Rosé from the Circle range. From Yangarra's biodynamic and organic vineyards, white cherries, orange peel, watermelon and strawberries set up a fresh and delectable opening. White chocolate, dried thyme and an autumnal savoury finish boot it home with fine spices and a slightly powdery textural feel waving you out the door. The appeal, the feel and the approachability slam home another winner. It's a great drink.

Strawberry, watermelon, blood orange, biscuit spice, aniseed. It’s a textured and chalky affair, some dried herb perfume in with orange and strawberry, a little bit savoury and meaty too, with a fleshy finish of good length. It’s quite drying, though that’s part of its charm.

Watermelon rind, radish and cranberry juice. The wine has a bergamot aroma, with citrus also being taken from the orange family. A Campari-like bitterness complemented by a true dry finish. This screams Mediterranean food, clean and drizzled with olive oil. Drink now
